We're starting off our journey with a Peace Cruise which includes a stop in Puerto Plata, D.R. At that port, we will participate in a project with local women working with recycled paper and we will get to create our own work of art under their skilled training.

Our second trip of 2024 will be a 2-week, land-based journey. We will spend a week with the volunteer program at the WFFT (Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand) Wildlife Rescue Centre and Elephant Reserve. This is a life-changing opportunity for individuals passionate about wildlife conservation. Nestled in the heart of Thailand, this program allows volunteers to actively contribute to the welfare and conservation of a diverse range of animals, including rescued elephants, primates, big cats, and various exotic species. Volunteers work closely with experienced staff, participating in animal care, habitat enrichment, and wildlife rehabilitation efforts. Beyond hands-on work, volunteers also engage in educational initiatives and outreach programs to raise awareness about wildlife conservation and the importance of ethical animal treatment. The WFFT volunteer program offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact while immersing oneself in the beauty of Thailand's natural landscapes and rich biodiversity. The second week will be spent with a woman-owned, local tour company exploring the amazing sights, food, and culture of Thailand.
